Chewy Chocolate Cherry Cookies Are the Ones that I Want

I made this. The only change is that I added a spoonful of cherry preserves to make the cookies a bit softer, though they still seemed a bit crisper, but having not tried one yet, they may still be chewy. That and mine came out in weird shapes. We started with this song from Grease and ended with this song from the Steve Miller Band. Thanks Pandora!

At some point, I'll need to decide I need more than a whisk for these jobs. Either or, total of 28 cookies made.

Here's what you need (and vanilla extract.)

All powder, minus sugar, goes in the left. The rest goes in the right.

Mix the left and right together, then add cherries and chocolate chips.

Bake (I think the baking spray was a goofy idea.)
